Cookie Policy
Information notice on the use of cookies and similar technologies. Last revision: May 2026.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that websites save on your device when you visit them. Ri-Hub uses cookies to make the website work (technical cookies) and — only if you have given consent — to measure aggregate use of the site (analytics cookies).
2. Categories of cookies used
2.1 Technical cookies (necessary)
They are required for the site to function and do not require consent pursuant to Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
NEXT_LOCALE | Ri-Hub (showcase site) | Language chosen by the user in order to serve the correct content. | 1 year |
ri-cookie-consent-v1 | Ri-Hub (showcase site) | Stores the choice made on the cookie banner (necessary/analytics). | localStorage, persistent |
| Stripe Checkout | Stripe Inc. | Payment checkout security (only during the purchase phase). | Session |
2.2 Analytics cookies (opt-in consent)
They are activated only if you have clicked "Accept all" or ticked Analytics on the cookie banner. They measure aggregate use of the site; they do not profile individual users, IP is not tracked, session replay is disabled.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
ph_*_posthog | PostHog (EU cloud, eu.i.posthog.com) | Aggregate analytics: page views, events (CTA clicks), conversion funnels. | 12 months |
Note: PostHog is configured in privacy-friendly mode (no IP, no session recording) and the data remain in EU data centres.
2.3 Third-party cookies (limited and contextual)
| Provider | When it appears | Purpose | Privacy |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stripe | Only on the payment checkout page | Anti-fraud + transaction security | stripe.com/privacy |
| YouTube (embed) | Only if you view an embedded YouTube video | Video streaming | policies.google.com/privacy |
3. How to manage your preferences
Cookie banner: the first time you visit the site a banner appears with three options:
- Accept all: enables the necessary cookies and the anonymous PostHog analytics.
- Necessary only: enables only the technical cookies essential for operation.
- Customise: choose category by category.
Changing your choice later: delete the ri-cookie-consent-v1 entry from the browser's localStorage (settings → Storage) to make the banner reappear. We are working on a "Manage cookie preferences" link to be made available in the footer.
Blocking all cookies via the browser: every browser allows you to block or delete cookies. See the official guides: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge.
4. Non-EU transfers
The PostHog analytics cookies are hosted in the EU cloud (eu.i.posthog.com) — no non-EU transfer for analytics data. Stripe and Google may process some data outside the EU on the basis of Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
5. Duration and processors
The data collected through analytics cookies are retained for 12 months. The Data Controller is Ri-Hub S.r.l. — see the Privacy Policy for the full list of external processors.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase and port your data, and to withdraw analytics consent at any time. To exercise your rights, write to privacy@ri-hub.it. See Privacy Policy § 6 for full details.
7. Changes
We update this policy when we add or remove tools that use cookies. Material changes are notified by re-presenting the cookie banner to you. Last revision: May 2026.
